Cigars you thought you couldn't afford!
Super Premiums at Everyday Low Prices!
If you can buy them in a convenience store...they're not worth smoking!
Here we go again, applying the same philosophy to
cigars that we did to cigarettes...price-wise anyway, as cigar rolling is an
'Art'...first let me tell you that I gave up smoking cigarettes over 2 years
ago, but couldn't give up tobacco!
So I turned to cigars, WOW it's like
driving with a GPS, how did I ever do without?!? I have never enjoyed this
much smoking satisfaction without inhaling...initially I was awestruck,
wading through the myriad of different cigars and prices...I have sampled
most, well no...alot, there's still a bunch out there and at 5 gars a day, I
guess I'm considered a heavy smoker. Spent alot of money in the beginning,
taking suggestions, buying expensive "boutique" cigars, hanging out in smoke
shops talking to afficionados, virtually absorbing all that I could till my
head exploded. When finally I arrived at the conclusion amongst all the
variables like long or short filler, hand or machine made, Maduro, Connecticut
Shade Leaf, Cuban Black Seed, Mexican, Jamaican, binders, Oscuro...all this
wasn't enuf, suddenly there's shapes and ring sizes to deal with...Figurados,
Churchhills, Robustos etc., your head hurt yet?
Conclusion being, that Cigar Smoking is a
very personal issue, unlike cigarettes, amongst the various brands, the taste
differential is subtle, comparatively. Cigars are unique to themselves and the
people that smoke them...almost like a wine tasting event. The variety of
flavors and nuances are bountiful, mild to "overwhelming", even to the extent
of color and first impression appearance, but one thing stands strong amongst
all of us and that my friend is the recognition of "The Best of the
Best"!
And that's what I'm doing here now,
one year and 1800+ cigars later, I have identified what I think most of you
would agree to be a collection of the "Best of the Best". Cigar Afficionado
Magazine already published it as fact and I have to agree, the Cigars
presented here for your enjoyment are all rated at 88 to 92 or better (is that
possible?), all Long Filler Handmades and the Best part is I
have found them at remarkable "everyday cigar" prices! But don't take my word
for it, check out the names and prices then do your search...you don't have to
wait for an 'overstock' event sale here...we've already cut prices to the
"nub"!.
For the new Cigar smokers, a small but
'Choice' selection, no confusion, no 'bad' cigars, can't lose..."Best of the
Best"!
Names like Perdomo, Rocky Patel,
Gurkha, Romeo y Julieta, CAO, Hoyo, Fonseca, Monte Cristo, Puros Indios, La
Aroma de Cuba and Henry Clay...say it all.
See what I mean...
